Heart attack claims life of Iowa man skiing at Breckenridge

A 67-year-old man from Iowa died Monday while skiing at Breckenridge, the victim of an apparent heart attack.

According to a press release from the Summit County coroner, Larry Miller of Waterloo, Iowa collapsed at the top of the Frosty’s Freeway trail at Breckenridge around noon Monday. He was taken to the Breckenridge Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Miller and his family had a second home in Fairplay.
