Heuga Center hosts fundraiser on Tuesday

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The Heuga Center will be holding a fundraiser for multiple sclerosis at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Vilar Center at Beaver Creek. Heuga Center board member Mike Marolt will present his experiences as the first man to climb up and ski down Mount Everest. Ticket price of $12 includes a wine reception before the presentation. To register, call (800) 367-3101.The Heuga Center is a national nonprofit organization based in Eagle County that provides educational and wellness programs for people and families living with multiple sclerosis. Proceeds from Tuesday’s fundraiser will go toward the Heuga Center’s JUMPSTART program. This program introduces people with MS and their family members to the “can do” philosophy.
