High Country Conservation Center hosting Climate Action Week
High Country Conservation Center will be hosting its first annual Climate Action Week from Monday, Oct. 2 to Thursday, Oct. 5.
The week will include a series of free events that are focused on local climate solutions. The event will kick off on Monday with an electric vehicle ride and drive and will be followed on Tuesday with a tour of Breckenridge’s Alta Verde net-zero workforce development.
Wednesday and Thursday will conclude the event with talks on recycling and water issues. Throughout the entire week of events, High Country Conservation Center will be giving out LED lightbulbs for people to install in their homes.
