High Country Conservation to host ‘Climate Town Live’ comedy show
High Country Conservation Center will be hosting a show called “Climate Town Live! A Very Colorado Town Hall” with comedian Rollie Williams on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Silverthorne Pavilion.
Williams is the creator and host of Climate Town, a YouTube series about the climate crisis, according to a High Country Conservation Center news release. He is a Golden, Colorado, native turned Brooklyn-based comedian with a master’s degree in Climate Science & Policy from Columbia University.
Using multimedia, wit and a healthy dose of research, he’ll unpack everything from oil propaganda to corporate misfeasance to our complex energy system, the release states.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. show.
This event is free, but tickets are required. More information can be found at HighCountryConservation.org/events/climate-town-live/
