Daily News staff report

The Summit High School Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is in its second year under its reorganization.

With the generous contribution of concerned community members, the PTSO increased the number of scholarships given to seniors from four to 14.

It is now kicking off its second annual fundraising drive for scholarships.

Scholarship selections must be made no later than March 31, and the PTSO’s scholarship committee will begin reviewing scholarship applications Feb. 8.

The PTSO’s mission is to increase community involvement in the academic, athletic and social lives of all SHS students.

Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated. Donations should be sent no later than Feb. 1 and mailed to Summit High School PTSO, c/o Robin Auldridge, 863 Summit Drive, Dillon, CO 80435.
