High school round table postponed

FARMER’S KORNER ” The public forum featuring perspectives of Summit High School students has been moved to Thursday, Feb. 21. It had been scheduled for this week.

Assistant principal Erick Finnestead will moderate a panel of five students, who will tackle such topics as: how students view our community; whether students want to live and work here after completing their higher education; what students feel are the key challenges facing them as independent adults; and what students like and dislike about their school experience.

Those interested in posing a question at the forum may send their inquiries in advance to OurFutureSummit@aol.com.

The forum is scheduled to last from 7-9 p.m. and will be free and open to the public. Doors at the Summit Middle School cafeteria will open at 6:30 p.m., when light snacks and soft drinks will be available.
