Author Dr. Sandra F. Mather presents “Behind Swinging Doors: The Saloons of Breckenridge and Summit County 1859-1900” today at 3 p.m. in the Breckenridge Town Hall auditorium. At the end of her presentation, Mather will be available to sign copies of her book, which may be purchased for $20.Also, mark your calendar for the last Thursday afternoon history series presentation this summer: “The Role of Transportation in the Development of Summit County in the Late 1800s” taking place Sept. 9 at 3 p.m.All presentations are free and open to the public.
