Holiday Inn to finish construction by summer

FRISCO – The Holiday Inn in Frisco continues to undergo renovations for the chain’s national relaunch. Its first phase of work is done, and workers are now starting on the second round of updates.

“The hotel was thrilled to open the first 100 completely remolded rooms on March 1 to conclude phase one of the project,” said Summit County’s Holiday Inn sales and catering manager Amy Morris.

New room decor includes plasma TVs, modern furniture, bathrooms and plush bedding.

The second phase of construction will create a brand new lobby, plus a restaurant and bar – Sporting News and Grill.

“We plan to have the project completed and ready for the summer season,” Morris said.
