Hometown heroes

Normally when we hear the phrase “hometown heroes,” we think of our military troops. And, they are. But there is another group of hometown heroes I would like to thank. These are the people that come to our Girl Scout Cookie booths and purchase cookies to be sent to our military personnel overseas. Some donate a box and some a case. It’s not the amount that each person donates to our military hometown heroes, it’s the thought and action that make you too, a hometown hero. On behalf of all the Girl Scouts selling cookies in Summit County, we thank all of our Home Town Heroes. Jim Ernst, Girl Scout dad & veteran
