Horses: If not in Colorado, then where?

I am writing in response to your article on the horses on Peak 7. I am not sure what all the hubbub is about! I have a small ranch here and raise horses in a residential neighborhood and have never had my neighbors complain about the smell, the water or anything else. If anything, they comment on how peaceful they are and how it makes them feel like they are truly “in the West.” I am outraged that the people in the Quigleys’ neighborhood are being this nasty about something that is perfectly natural, especially since the Quigleys are making concessions to move the trail so it will be accessible to everyone. For crying out loud, if you cannot have horses in Colorado, where can you!
