Hunter education course available near Silverthorne July 10-11

The Colorado Division of Wildlife is offering a hunter education course at Blue Valley Sportsman’s Club on Saturday, July 10, and Sunday, July 11. Classes will run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The cost for this class is $5 per person. The Blue Valley Sportsman’s Club is located on Colorado State Highway 9 between Kremmling and Silverthorne.

Participants must attend both classes and pass a test to receive a hunter education card.

Completion of hunter education is required for anyone born after Jan. 1, 1949, who wants to hunt or apply for hunting licenses in Colorado.

Advance registration for the class is required, and space is limited. To register or get more information, contact the DOW office in Hot Sulphur Springs at (970) 725-6200.
