I-70 closed in multiple locations for avalanche reduction work

UPDATE: CDOT reports at 9:35 a.m. I-70 is now open at Vail Pass and between Herman Gulch MM 218 and Eisenhower Tunnel.

The Colorado Department of Transportation reported at 8:45 a.m. I-70 is closed in both directions at milemarker 190-184 Vail Pass due to avalanche reduction work. No estimated time to open.

I-70 is also closed in both directions between Herman Gulch MM 218 and Eisenhower Tunnel MM 213 for avalanche reduction work. No estimated time to open.
