I-70 east bound re-opened after accident

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

An accident, due to icy spots and blowing snow, caused CDOT to close Interstate 70 east bound at mile marker 239, Idaho Springs. Traffic was being re-routed off exit 240 through Idaho Springs as medical response and flight for life attended to the scene.

East bound I-70 is now open to traffic.
