I-70 reopens at Vail Pass after accidents

Multiple weather-related accidents closed Vail Pass on Interstate 70 in both directions for much of this afternoon and evening.

Westbound I-70 reopened about 7 p.m. and the eastbound lanes reeopened at 7:22 p.m.

Earlier, eastbound I-70 was blocked at the Eisenhower Tunnel as well for a time because of a jackknifed semi-trailer truck, but reopened about 4 p.m.
