I-70 westbound reopens after fatal accident

THE DENVER POST

A purple Ford Mustang driving west on Interstate 70 this afternoon was involved in a fatal accident with a semi trailer.

Colorado State Patrol responded just after 2:15 p.m. to the accident that happened just east of the Eisenhower Tunnel.

Officials investigating the scene closed westbound I-70 at milemarker 221 at Bakerville. The state patrol and CDOT reopened both lanes at 5:30 p.m.
