If your restaurant is open on Thanksgiving, tell Summit Daily News

A Thanksgiving meal is pictured from a community dinner in 2019. Any restaurants planning to be open this year should contact Summit Daily News to be featured in a roundup of eateries open on Thanksgiving Day.

Gathering at home for a massive meal isn’t for everyone. Some families’ traditions involve sitting down at a local restaurant and enjoying great food without all the effort.

The Summit Daily News wants to compile a list of all the open eateries on Thanksgiving to make the holiday go a little smoother for those away from home or wanting a restaurant-quality meal.

Owners and managers of Summit County restaurants that plan to be open for the holiday are encouraged to tell the Summit Daily News. The guide will include the name of the restaurant, physical location, phone number and website, as well as whether or not reservations are required and what kind of meal will be served.

The guide will be similar to the one from last year.

The list will run online and in print ahead of Thanksgiving and be updated as restaurants reach out.

To be included, respond to a survey at bit.ly/TGmeals23.
