Inaugural Beetle Fest

The Town of Frisco and Friends of the Dillon Ranger District (FDRD) invite you to attend the First annual Beetle Fest on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Frisco’s Main Street. Proceeds benefit FDRD, including their forest restoration efforts.

Bring your family and friends for this unique, zany event designed to bring education and awareness regarding the mountain pine beetle impact on Summit’s forests, while having fun with our community members.

Beetle Fest attractions include: live music, including a Beatles cover band, food and beverage booths, carnival rides, critter costume contest, critter bike-trike race, slug bug mallet whomp, bug displays, Smokey Bear, educational booths and presentations and much more.

No outside alcohol and food allowed. Ride your bike or walk to get the best parking.

Bring all-weather gear to outlast anything Mother Nature gives us that day. Beetle Fest sponsors include The Town of Frisco, Backcountry Brewery, KSMT, RSN and the Summit Daily News. For more information, visit or contact the Frisco Information Center at (800) 424-1554.
