‘Inspired by Assets’ Writing Contest

Summit Prevention Alliance announces its eighth annual ‘Inspired by Assets’ Writing Contest. The contest theme for this year is, “Tell us how you have been a peacemaker in your school or community”. Students are invited to participate in this asset building writing activity and share examples of how they have brought peace to their friends or school or what they will do to create peace.The contest is open to students in grades K-5. All contest entries are due by Thursday, Feb. 21 by 3 p.m. Submit entries to the front office of your school. Each category will have a gold, silver, and bronze place winner. Gold place finishers will receive a $50 Savings Bond from Alpine Bank. Silver place finishers will receive a $20 gift certificate to The Next Page book store in Frisco.
