Intrawest announces more staff changes

SUMMIT COUNTY – Intrawest Colorado’s marketing division underwent an overhaul recently as the company continues to realign itself in the wake of its acquisition of Winter Park.

The company is still searching for a public relations director and research director but has already filled the following positions:

n Colorado marketing director – Mary Woolwine. Formerly the director of advertising at Winter Park, Woolwine has spent 24 years at the resort in various positions. Woolwine’s new role will focus on marketing within the state, including Front Range and local advertising, season pass programs, 4 Pass, tickets, and pricing.

n Internet marketing director – Jen Hartley. Most recently, Hartley was the Internet marketing manger at Copper Mountain. With five years’ experience in the marketing department there, she has been charged with developing online marketing programs for all three of Intrawest Colorado’s business entities.

n National advertising director – Stacy White. White will be responsible for national advertising, fulfillment and distribution of resort brochures and direct mail pieces, customer relation management and the design department. Most recently, White was the marketing manager in charge of direct mail, research and national advertising at Copper.

n Youth marketing and events director – Ben Friedland. Although Friedland most recently held the communications manager position at Copper, he began work in the ski industry doing public relations at Winter Park. In his new role, Friedland will be responsible for youth-focused marketing for Winter Park and Copper, including park and pipe branding, sponsorship collaboration and events.
