Investigation into attorneys is warranted

John HolmesBreckenridge

Regarding the investigation of U.S. Attorney removals, the Republican talking points include the outrageous observation that there is no evidence to show a connection between the removals and the failure of those removed to use their offices to pursue the President’s political agenda. There is, of course, some evidence. But even if there were none, the very purpose of investigations is to look into suspicious circumstances and discover evidence of wrongdoing, if any there be. Certainly the circumstances in this matter are suspicious, and a full investigation is called for.
