Investment workshops offered at CMC

Three different investment workshops will be offered on three Wednesdays at Colorado Mountain College in Dillon from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The workshops are free.• College Savings Plans – It Pays to Do Your Homework will be held on Wednesday. Parents will be presented with options to fund children’s future education expenses.• On Wednesday, June 7, the free investment course will be Retirement Planning for Individuals will be held on Wednesday, June 7. Participants can learn how to plot retirement – how is needed to retire comfortably and how to get there. The workshop will provide an explanation of Traditional and Roth IRAs and a side-by-side comparison of their advantages and disadvantages. • Small Business Retirement Plans – Underutilized Diamonds in the Rough, is offered on Wednesday, June 14.
