Jacqueline Skaro of Frisco dies of cancer

Jacqueline Virginia Skaro lost her battle with cancer Sept. 19. She was surrounded by her youngest daughter Jackie and three of her grandchildren. She is remembered as a fun-loving and warm-hearted woman, selfless in her love for others. She retired as a nurse at the Climax molybdenum mine infirmary after 18 years.

She is survived by her husband, Harry G. Skaro of Frisco, daughters Marcia Skaro of Boulder, Jackie McPheeters of SIlverthorne, and son Steve Skaro of Colombia, South America; grandchildren Katie Reed, Aron Skaro, Kimi McPheeters, Kayla McPheeters, and Scotty McPheeters.
