Jason Bruton: Trickle-down skeptic

Jason Bruton
Frisco

I am so happy we are surrounded by such angelic rich folk here in Summit. It’s great to know the wealthy in this area are so giving and I can rest easy they are here so that I might gather what they decide to pass on. I feel secure that I have the stability that the rich in our community have worked so hard to get their wealth that they can now give us underachievers some jobs.

You should be commended John Hendry! A big thanks to Guy Pacot and his giving friends! Yes Joe Lammert, you are so correct in your assertion that I am envious of the house across the street that blocks the view that was once there.

It’s too bad you all missed the point of the column (“The great disparity” by Alex Miller, opinion, July 1). But, there isn’t much you can do about ignorance. I would explain; but, like I just said, isn’t much I can do for you. (Coughing) Gluttony. (Still coughing) Greed. (Still coughing) Waste.

Oh, one more thing: We let you keep the tax breaks; where’s the jobs?
