Jeremy Liggett: Stop the BBQ madness

Jeremy Liggett
Frisco

I am absolutely appalled that the Town of Frisco is sponsoring this so-called annual BBQ festival. This is most offensive to those of us who do not eat meat, especially pig/pork flesh – which is most disgusting.

Pig farming is one of the most environmentally damaging practices there is. And now we see the town trying to make this pork gluttony “eco-friendly” – what an abomination!

It’s high time the Town of Frisco and the Summit Daily stop promoting this gluttonous insanity. I say no more BBQ festivals forever. It’s time to end this madness once and for all in this town. Rather, the Town of Frisco needs to fund and promote green/sustainability festivals to help transition our debased and degraded town out of its meat consciousness and move into a more vegetarian/vegan friendly world. It’s time.
