Jim Salestrom, rescheduled

Jim Salestrom

Dear Friends: As some of you know, I have been so lucky to play a concert each year at the Riverwalk Center in honor of all the songs I’ve written about Summit County and some special ones tied to Father Dyer Methodist Church.

I have to postpone this year as I had an emergency operation on Wednesday. I am still in the hospital and will be able to go home next week. It’s not life threatening but serious enough to sideline me for a month. (No need to go into all the details here, but it’s a speed bump and I am grateful the surgeon did his thing.)

The folks at the Riverwalk Center have allowed me to postpone my concert to a new date, August 26. It’s the Thursday before Labor Day and I hope those who have been coming to these the past 25 years (can you believe that?) can save the date.

I am grateful to Summit County for always being there to listen and support my life’s dream of being a musician.

So … Have a great Fourth of July weekend and please know how grateful we are to the Town of Breckenridge and Vanessa Agee for giving me another date to play. I still plan to bring Bill Danoff who wrote “Take Me Home Country Roads” and comedian Dick Hardwick as well as the band.
