John Fanning: Racism inappropriately used

John Fanning
Dillon

There have been many, especially on the left, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Michael Moore, who suggest that opposition to the policies of President Obama is shrouded in racism. Many in the “fringe” media are fanning these flames.

If my memory is correct, the president’s mother is white and his father is black. This would make him the first bi-racial president, not the first black president – as is the label placed on him by the media. So, if one disagrees with his policies, one would be “bi-racist” not racist with aspect to his biological make-up.

So, a non-white person who disagrees with his policies would be racist as a white person is according to many on the left and the fringe media.

In my opinion, racism is inappropriately used to minimize the objections people have to some of the president’s policies.
