John Fanning: The height of hypocrisy

The height of hypocrisy is President Obama arbitrarily setting the pay scale for company management whose company is receiving taxpayer money, while he with scare tactics is supporting the largest pork-filled legislation this country has ever witnessed. Our children and especially our grandchildren will be financially burdened for generations.

It is the height of hypocrisy when President Obama says the taxpayers should not reward failure, when we the taxpayers are rewarding failure each and every day from his administration as well as the members of the Senate and House of Representatives.

It is the height of hypocrisy for taxpayers to pay money to the incompetent state governments, including our own, which have not been fiscally responsible and now want more of our money. Is President Obama going to limit the pay of the incompetent so-called leaders in these states?

It is the height of hypocrisy when he talks about how pure his administration is going to be, and then picks tax cheaters and avoiders, as well as lobbyists, for important positions in his administration. One tax cheater and avoider is the head of the Internal Revenue Service.

Webster defines hypocrisy as a pretense of virtue and piety ” pretending to be what one is not.
