Josh Hopson and Daryl Birger: Thanks to Rescue Group and St. Anthony’s

Josh Hopson and Daryl Birger

On Saturday, May 1, Summit County Rescue Group saved my life and leg. Without these heroic human beings in our community, many people might not have come out in as good as shape as I was fortunately able to. I could go on forever about these awesome examples of selfless people like Brian Taylor and Tim Schlough mean to us, as well as all the other volunteers; you know who you are.

Next, I must express my gratitude to everyone at St. Anthony Summit hospital and Vail-Summit Orthopaedics. Your staff is professional from top to bottom and very friendly to anyone who needs them, as far as my experience. Keep up your hard work – the community really needs and appreciates everyone at St. Anthony’s and Vail-Summit Orthopaedics sacrifices to help their fellow human beings.

Finally, I’m just one in a long line of people these local heroes have helped and saved. These are normal humans who do extraordinary things for the good of the community and people they don’t even know, and receive a fraction of what there worth. So anyway keep supporting the SCRG, St. Anthony’s, and VSO – we cant afford to lose them. These are the people who make Summit County – the nicest place to live on the planet!
