Juggling, magic show today at libraries

The Summit County Libraries kicks off another exciting summer reading program with Ann Lincoln’s one-of-a-kind juggling, magic and comedy show, “I Dreamed I was a Genie.”

This year, Lincoln becomes a “dreamy” genie and makes magical wishes come true as she entertains in front of a backdrop painted to look like a scene from “The Arabian Nights.” The show includes both silly and spectacular juggling, plus Lincoln’s dove and bunny will make magical appearances. A new routine will feature one lucky audience member seeming to float on air on a “magic carpet ride.”

Lincoln will perform for kids at the main library, Frisco, at 10:30 a.m. today and will have a final show this afternoon at 1, at the north branch library, Silverthorne. The program is free to the public, and is geared toward kids, ages 3-11. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.
