Junior Sailing Club thanks donors

Aleda S. Kresge

On behalf of the Dillon Yacht Club Junior Sailing Club, I would like to thank The Summit Foundation and the Lenzmeier Williams Donor Advised Fund for their support of our organization. Currently in its fourth year, the Junior Sailing Club has taught many local and visiting kids between the ages of 9 and 17 the basics of sailing as well as water and weather safety. This year our participation has risen dramatically due in part to the help from these organizations. We were able to upgrade our chase boat and provide more teaching boats, thus increasing our capacity. We have also given scholarships to kids who were unable to afford the tuition. The grant has provided the groundwork needed to further expand our program next year. Please check the Web site at http://www.dillonyachtclub.com for the details and to reserve a spot in a class. Additionally I would like to thank our great community for their support because if not for this community where would we all be?
