Keep Winter White Nordic Tour Series
Tour the Summit is a recreational Nordic ski or snowshoe tour to raise awareness about the relationship between climate change and the ability to enjoy winter recreation in Summit County. It represents a partnership between the towns of Frisco and Breckenridge, High Country Conservation Center, the Gold Run and Frisco Nordic centers and the Summit Nordic Ski ClubThe tour will be held Jan. 13 starting between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the Gold Run Nordic Center and finishing at the Frisco Nordic Club. The cost before Jan. 6 is $35 for an individual, $50 for family and kids 17 and under are free. After Jan. 6, add $15. Proceeds will benefit High Country Conservation Center and the Summit Nordic Club.The event will include food and drink stations featuring items from Cool River Cafe, Blue Moon Bakery, Abbey’s Coffee, Gilchrist Catering and Food Hedz cafe. Also, new this year, Belgium Brewery will provide beer at the finish.
