‘Keep Winter White’ snowshoe tour held Jan. 7


The Rocky Mountain Nordic Tour Series presents the “Keep Winter White,” a noncompetitive cross country ski or snowshoe tour. The event, held on Jan. 7, aims to raise awareness of global warming and promote Nordic skiing in Colorado. The tour will go from Breckenridge to Frisco. The short course is 10K and the long course is 25K. Start is between 9 and 10 a.m. at the Gold Run Nordic Center in Breckenridge. Finish is at the Frisco Nordic Center. Cost is $35 per individual and $50 per family. Snacks will provided along the way and at the finish. Preregistration and more information is available at http://www.rmnordic.org.
