Keystone: Board of Education and new superintendent to hold retreat today

At a retreat slated for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Keystone Center, Summit School District Board of Education members meet with new superintendent Heidi Pace to discuss expectations, roles, goals and focal projects of the district.

They plan to talk about the roles and responsibilities of both board members and the superintendent as well as how the two work together to run the district.

They’ll outline goals for Pace for the 2011-12 school year as well as board priorities and the district’s strategic plan.
