Keystone Resort will host its annual mountain cleanup day on June 18.

The event serves as a community-wide effort to help preserve the natural beauty of the mountain environment. Keystone encourages employees and local residents to partake in the event.

Beyond the service done in helping keep the mountain clean, the event is also a great opportunity to connect with others while spending time outdoors.

Check-in will begin at the River Run Gondola at 8:30 a.m., with volunteers being loaded on the gondolas by 9 a.m. The event is expected to wrap up between 1-1:30 p.m. All volunteers are encouraged to come prepared with closed-toed shoes, water, sunglasses, hats, snacks, sunscreen and work gloves.

Keystone will provide trash-pickers and trash bags.
