Keystone Resort to host Springtastic Closing Weekend from April 5-6

Following over 150 days of skiing and riding, Keystone Resort will conclude the season with its annual Springtastic Closing Weekend from April 5-6 at the Mountain House base area.

The closing weekend celebration will kick off on Saturday, April 5, with the Springtastic Rail Jam. The event will allow skiers and snowboarders to showcase their terrain park skills for a chance to win cash, prizes and gear. Participants must be ages 14 and up and are encouraged to register in advance on the Keystone Resort website.

The party will continue on Sunday with Keystone’s Slush Cup. Featuring a kid-sized pond skim, participants of all ages can slide and splash their way across the resort’s pond skim for a chance to win a variety of prizes. The prizes will all be from Keystone’s partners including Helly Hansen, Oakley and GoPro.



All of the Springtastic Closing Weekend events are spectator friendly, and guests throughout the weekend with have opportunities to enjoy swag, samples and giveaways. To learn more about the weekend’s full lineup of festivities and register for the Slush Cup and Rail Jam, visit KeystoneResort.com

All of the event proceeds will benefit the Epic Promise Foundation, which provides emergency relief and educational scholarships to Vail Resorts employees.



Through March 30, Keystone will operate on all three of its peaks with lifts running from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Starting on March 31, through closing day on April 6, Keystone will operate on a 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. schedule with a plans to operate on all three peaks as weather and conditions permit.
