Keystone Science School internship program taking applications
The Keystone Science School proudly announces its High School Internship Program for Summit High School students ages 16-19. This paid program aims to deliver an all-encompassing learning experience for its participants, including practical skills that can be carried into future experiences, keen sense of leadership and personal responsibility and the opportunity to develop a knowledgeable appreciation for the natural environment.
The internship program takes place from December 2010-April 2011, totaling a 24-hour time commitment. Interns will have the opportunity to teach/assist several programs, guide our intercultural hike and participate in a series of three three-hour training sessions. Applications are currently being accepted through Tuesday. Applicants are required to complete a cover letter explaining their reasoning for applying for the program and two letters of recommendation. More information can be found on the school website at http://keystone.org/cfe/keystone-science-school/school-programs/high-school-intern-program. Questions can be directed to Monica Diaz, administrative and logistics coordinator, at (970)455-4228 or mdiaz@keystone.org.
