Keystone Symposia names new CEO

SILVERTHORNE – The Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology announced the appointment of Dr. James W. Aiken as its new CEO and President. Aiken will assume the position on Monday.

Based in Silverthorne, the Symposia, a 33-year-old international organization dedicated to supporting biomedical science conferencing, organizes annual gatherings of researchers from around the world.

Aiken most recently served as Senior Director of Therapeutic Area Strategy for the Pharmacia Corporation, now Pfizer, and has spent 32 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, Aiken has participated in the evaluation of various academic research programs.

Aiken and his wife will reside in Breckenridge.
