DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

KEYSTONE ” Most resorts open for the season by simply turning on the lifts. Not Keystone. The resort’s turning on the lifts and then leaving them on for 36 continuous hours to start the 2004-2005 season on Friday, Nov. 12.

Off the mountain, the 36 hours of festivities include parties, live music and all-day/all-night shopping.

When the resort opens for the 2004-2005 season at 8 a.m. on Nov. 12 , it will remain open until 8 p.m. Nov. 13 with lift access out of River Run village. To celebrate the inaugural 36 Hours of Keystone, the resort is offering a special $36 lift ticket rate valid Nov. 12-13 for the 36 hours.

The SoBe No Fear 36 Hours of Keystone kicks off WinterFall ” a festival held every weekend from Nov. 12 to Dec. 19 ” to celebrate the start of the winter season with street parties, rail jams, movie premieres, fireworks, concerts and more. The name WinterFall was chosen because winter falls on/around the last day of the festival.
