Keystone’s Independence Bowl is open

KEYSTONE – Keystone is celebrating the opening of Independence Bowl on Saturday. The resort is offering 30 percent off on Keystone Adventure Tours, Summit County’s largest snowcat skiing operation. The tours allow advanced skiers and riders to experience backcountry conditions in a controlled, guided environment. The sale rate will last through Jan. 24.

Keystone Adventure Tours provides skiers and riders access to nearly 300 acres of Keystone’s most challenging terrain in Independence Bowl.

Participants receive a full day of guided backcountry skiing and riding, a catered lunch, powder skis, an avalanche beacon and introductory backcountry safety information.
