Kinderhut served us well

We would like to sincerely thank the community-minded staff and directors at Kinderhut Children’s Center for their 21 years of excellent service to Summit County families. In a county where childcare is limited and 82 percent of mothers work, this service has been invaluable. It has been a true pleasure that our daughter has learned to love skiing since she was a toddler in Kinderhut’s professional and affordable care. Because of this care, we have occasionally been able to enjoy the resort at Breckenridge. As we drive though the throng of ski traffic on the way to work, it has been a real bright spot in our lives that such organizations as Kinderhut keep local families, and especially young children, in mind when programming. It is extremely disappointing that Vail Resorts doesn’t see the value of this service and will discontinue Kinderhut’s lease. We certainly challenge Vail Resorts to match the quality of care Kinderhut has provided to preserve the quality of life people who live and work in the county have enjoyed.
