Knitting classes begin June 22

What’s Needling U in Frisco is offering three knitting classes this summer. Each class will be for four sessions. The first class session will be on Wednesdays, June 22, 29, July 6 and 13. Participants have a choice of the afternoon session from 2-4 p.m. or the evening session from 6-8 p.m. Participants must sign up and pay for the class by close of business on June 18. The next session will start July 20 and be held for the next three Wednesdays at the same times. Participants must sign up for this class by close of business July 16. The third class will start Aug. 17 and go for the next three Wednesdays also at the same times. Sign up for this class by close of business on Aug. 13.Cost for the classes is $60 plus supplies. Participants will learn to knit, purl, decrease, increase, cast-on, bind-off and start their first project. Supplies for the first project are not included. A scarf vest class for the intermediate knitter will be offered in three sessions Aug. 11, 18 and 25. Times for this class are either 2-4 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. on each day. Registration and supplies need to be paid for by close of business Aug. 6. Cost of the class is $45 plus supplies for the vest.What’s Needling U is also offering Just Knit sessions for those who want to learn to knit but don’t have time for a class. Participants should make a reservation for $15 for an hour session to learn to knit, cast-on and bind-off. For more information, call (970) 668-0381.
