Kreamelmeyer’s position misunderstood

Erin Major, Montezuma

In regard to David Callan’s nonendorsement (SDN, Oct. 31) of Jon Kreamelmeyer for the Nov. 4 school board election, it seems as though Mr. Callan may have “overread” Mr. Kreamelmeyer’s position on the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

Mr. Kreamelmeyer clearly stated that he wanted more information on the IB program. I think it would be beneficial if the entire community received more information on the IB program.

A program of this importance can surely hold up to some dialogue and scrutiny. I applaud Kreamelemeyer’s honesty and also support both him and Bob Bowers for the school board.
