L.A.P.S. K94K a huge success

The L.A.P.S. 20th Annual K94K was a huge success with almost $16,000 raised, 193 dogs participating and perfect weather (compliments of an angel named Nancy). Entertainment included Majestic Mountain Chorus (of which Nancy was a member) and Eric Melvin and the Amazing Angelyne, both of which were crowd pleasers. John Ring and granddaughter Alayna Ring were on hand to celebrate the race that Nancy started back in 1991, which has grown considerably since then. L.A.P.S. would like to thank all our generous sponsors, vendors and volunteers who helped with the fundraising and the work.Top Dog Sponsor: Frisco Animal Hospital; Best in Show: Buffalo Mountain Animal Hospital, Town of Frisco, Breckenridge Animal Clinic, KSMT, Krystal 93, Peterson Pups, TheNaturalHome.com, Caldwell Canines; Best in Class: Mica’s Pack, Real Estate of the Summit, Prudential O’Brien Real Estate, Sulquist Mortgage, Strategic Fence & Wall, Omni Real Estate, Elk Mountain Trading Company, Crystal Clear Auto Glass, Dan McCrerey Family, Paws & Claws, The Moose Jaw, Alpine Bank, Dr. John Warner, Wiese Agency/American Family Ins., US Bank, Breckenridge Hat Company, Natural Balance Pet Foods, The Summit Daily News, MPR Broadcasting and special thanks to Squeeze Designz for the commemorative custom designed t-shirts; Cat’s Meow: Abbey’s Coffee, Buffalo Mountain Gallery, BackCountry Brewery, High Country Designs, Howard Head Sports Medicine, The Barnyard, Outback Steakhouse, Meg Jimenez Puppy Pre-School, Custom Eyes, Boatyard American Grill, Dr. Andi Harper, Body Essentials, TheNaturalHome.com, Breckenridge BARKery, Cup in the Corner, A-List Salon, Peak Provisions, Summit County Animal Shelter, Silverthorne Rec Center, Auth Chiropractic, Neils Lunceford, Hand and Glove, Affordable Framing, Randall McKinnon, Holiday Inn/Frisco, Wildernest Real Estate, High Country Custom Impressions, Alpine Accents, Harvest Catering, Round the Mountain Shop, Chiropractic Health & Acupuncture, Copper Mountain, Snap Fitness, Gucci Pucci, Summit County Library, McDonald’s, A Wrinkle in Time, Ten Mile Cafe, The Blue Spruce, Toscato’s, Rivers, The Balance Sheet, Larry & Mac Borsina and Brad & Cristi Eckert; Vendors: Boulder Bits, Skijor-n-More, Elora LLC, WellPet, Intuitive Advantage, Nutro Pet Products, Katie’s Bumpers, Farmer’s Corner Veterinary Hospital, American Red Cross, and Woof Wallet; Volunteers: L.A.P.S.
