Lake Dillon Pub & Grill closed for violations

DILLON – Lake Dillon Pub & Grill will be closed for seven days as a result of two liquor violations. It will reopen for business Friday, Aug. 30.According to police reports, on June 20, an employee served alcohol to a minor, during a liquor sting operation with the Dillon Police, Summit Prevention Alliance and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, said Dillon police Chief Gary Cline.Shortly after, on July 2, Dillon Police and the Colorado State Liquor Board cited the bar for another violation when an employee served alcohol to a visibly intoxicated customer, Cline said.The bar owners received a 45-day suspension for the two violations. Cline said the owners chose to pay a fine of approximately $1,000 in place of the first seven days of suspension. The bar is forced to serve another seven-day suspension and will be closed today through Aug. 29 as a result.Cline said the remaining 31 days of their suspension will have to be served if the bar receives any more violations in the next 12 months, plus any subsequent penalties.
