Leadership Summit now accepting applications

Daily News staff report

Beyond a small number of elected officials and business leaders, community leadership is also found in a less visible, but active group of caring citizens. They are the alumni of Leadership Summit, a community-based leadership program hosted by Colorado Mountain College and sponsored by The Summit Foundation. They are neighborhood leaders, professionals, executives, educators and other citizens of Summit County, and they have a vision for the future.

Leadership Summit is a nine-month program designed to empower participants with an “insider’s perspective” of our community’s challenges and opportunities. The program focuses on collaborative leadership training, community networking, and topical community challenges.

Be a part of the Leadership Summit, Class of 2012, beginning Nov. 27 and help shape the future of Summit County. Contact Suzanne Price Hyman at Colorado Mountain College at (970) 468-5989 or at shyman@coloradomtn.edu.
