On Thursday Breckenridge Music will bring internationally-acclaimed dance company Ballet Hispánico to Summit County. The group will be conducting two school assemblies during the afternoon of March 14 at Silverthorne Elementary and Dillon Valley Elementary School. That evening, the group will lead a Latin Social Dance, consisting of a 45-minute dance class with the audience, a 30-minute dance session, another quick 15-minute dance lesson and finally a 45-minute dance set.

Ballet Hispánico will be collaborating with groups local to Summit County and Colorado as well, including the Summit High School Mariachi Band, Baile Folklorico and Conjunto Colores, a Denver-based salsa band that will be traveling up from Denver to provide music.

The Latin Social Dance will begin at 7 on March 14 at the Silverthorne Pavilion. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 day of sale, and doors open at 6:30. Visit BreckMusic.org to purchase tickets.
