Lemon understands small businesses

Daily Staff Writer

As an organization of small businesses, the Summit County Builders Association believes Heather Lemon is the better candidate to represent District 56 in the state Legislature. Although both candidates have expressed opposition to Amendment 34, we feel Heather – with a law practice specializing in the affairs of small businesses – better understands the difficulties and challenges for small companies competing in our mountain and resort communities. Heather recognizes the need for tort reform and will be an advocate for fairness in the marketplace. There are many important issues facing our elected officials in the upcoming sessions. We feel it is very useful to have all those issues addressed from the lead perspective of small businesses in seeking the greater good of our communities.
