Leonidas Fund thanks Copper Mtn., community

Tom Torres

The Leonidas Fund would like to thank Copper Mountain for a day of donated skiing with soldiers from Fort Carson and the U.S.O. We would like to say thank you to Karen Dickey, Cherly, Union Creek and the Copper Mountain H.O.A., for a day of R&R for these brave men and women who are now in Iraq. Also to our local volunteers that made this happen, Barbara Lalor, Deven Church, local band Jukebox Hero who played for us, Laura and Wendi for their creative gift baskets. Some of Copper Mountain finest instuctors Erin, Rizzo, Kyle, Kurt and Jen, who volunteered their time and talent, to be their battle buddies for the day on the mountain. We at the Leonidas Fund are planning another ski trip in March, if you would like to help call MSG Torres U.S. Army Airborne (ret) at (970) 468-6711 or founder Tim Gurule at (970) 389-6846. Thank you Copper Mountain!
