Lessons for new residents

CRAIG BERNHARDY, FRISCO

In regards to your Scum Alert from March 16, 2006 (regarding a filthy bumper sticker on a tourist’s car), I wanted to let our new Summit County neighbors (and tax payers) know what they may expect from the TBK (Tourist Butt Kissers) here in the county. Now that you have crossed the line and made disparaging remarks about our distinguished guests from the fine state of Oklahoma, be prepared for a slew of comments on the editorial page from the heads of the TBK.Being new to Summit County you may not be aware that short of murder, anything a tourist does after they arrive is OK because that’s our “bread and butter.” And don’t you forget it! Perhaps our new motto should be, “Come to Summit County and trash it … just leave your check so we can cash it.” Anyway, welcome to Summit County new neighbors: We’re not all about the dollar.
