Librarians do care about being fair

I have been a volunteer and occasional substitute at the North Branch Library in Silverthorne for almost two years, so I am well acquainted with the librarians mentioned in your article in the Sept. 28 edition. I was at the library when the display was being assembled and pro-Bush books were included. Perhaps they had been checked out when the Clarks visited the library. The display was created not to champion a certain agenda but to highlight the current political season. I know the librarians care about their patrons and strive to put as much information as possible in front of them so they make their own decisions.
